  • We're kind of like a joint freelancing team. While we're legally considered an agency, we're really just two marketing girls with complementary skill sets who have helped a lot of startups build effective and scrappy marketing strategies. Like an agency, we're official, easy to logistically sign on, and offer a variety of marketing services. Like freelancers, we're extremely flexible and lean.

  • We offer a wide range of services! We mostly work on an hourly retainer and lump our relevant capabilities together. For more concrete projects like pitch decks, investor decks, distributor decks, and sales materials, we quote on a project basis.

  • We pride ourselves in being highly collaborative and easy to work with. While we specialize in marketing, you specialize in your industry and your brand. Our first trial month gives us the ability to do a deep dive analysis, arming us with the information and time to brainstorm before we come to you with recommendations. We then will collaborate. We do not have restrictions on number of revisions in our retainers. We work on an hourly retainer, which allows us to ebb and flow with your everchanging startup priorities.

  • No. We work from opposite sides of the country, fully remote. We each have a mini UGC setup at home to create content. For professional content, we have a network of freelancers and creative agencies we manage and art direct. Managing creative partners, creating UGC, repurposing professional content, and shot list creation are all within our capabilities and can be included in our retainer. The cost of professional photography is left to the creator to quote directly.

  • We are fully remote. Karli is based out of New York and Adi is based out of Los Angeles. This allows us to be available in the early mornings and late nights without both being awake 24/7.

    We take all of our calls on Google Meet or Zoom unless you're local to one of us and prefer in-person meetings!

  • At first, no. We require everyone to start with a 1 Month Trial, which is a no strings attached discounted trial month. If we all still like each other (which so far has always happened), we'll move on to a 3-month retainer. After a 3-month retainer, we are happy to explore a month-to-month.

  • We hate when pricing isn't transparent, especially for startups. We have listed all of our baseline pricing on our services page. Our Trial Month starts at $3,000 (discounted from $3,500) for 30 hours. Once we complete our Trial Month, we will quote you in 10-hour increments to try to fit as much as possible in a retainer that works for you.

    If your budget is below $3,000 - please still reach out! We are humans with understanding, and we are happy to try to make something work.

    For project-basis work, most projects will start at around $1,000, but it really depends on what you're looking for. Again, please reach out! We're happy to get creative with pricing, especially when it comes to pitch decks.

  • Outside of our project-base work, we do not quote based on deliverables. As you know, in startup life, things change on a daily basis. Our hourly retainers allow for us to change with your priotiy shifts. We are very efficient workers, and it's more price effective to do it this way than quoting based on number of posts, for example.

  • We try to maintain a healthy work-life balance and encourage you to do the same. That being said, we will always respond to communications during the week and have a group chat for weekend emergencies and urgent matters. We check social over the weekend and will monitor anything additional discussed in advance. We try to limit additional communications so we can all take a well-deserved break to recharge before the crazy week ahead.

  • We have built a successful deck in a week, but we share that just so you know we can work fast. The more time, the better, but we will try our best to work with your timeline.
